Enlarged Prostate

Prostate Artery Embolization (PAE) is a minimally invasive procedure designed to alleviate the symptoms of BPH. It works by reducing the blood flow to the enlarged prostate, thus shrinking it and relieving urinary symptoms such as frequent urination, urgency, weak urine flow, and incomplete emptying of the bladder.

Uterine Fibroids

A non-surgical procedure used to treat symptomatic uterine fibroids, which are non-cancerous growths that develop in the uterus. During UAE, small particles are injected into the arteries that supply blood to the fibroids, cutting off their blood supply. This causes the fibroids to shrink over time, relieving symptoms such as heavy menstrual bleeding, pelvic pain, and urinary frequency. UAE offers a less invasive alternative to hysterectomy (surgical removal of the uterus) for women who wish to preserve their fertility or avoid major surgery.

Hemorrhoids

Hemorrhoid Artery Embolization (HAE) is a minimally invasive procedure designed to alleviate the symptoms of painful hemorrhoids. It works by reducing the blood flow to the hemorrhoidal arteries, thus shrinking the swollen hemorrhoidal tissue and providing relief from symptoms such as pain, bleeding, and discomfort.

Image Guided Tumor Ablation

Image-guided tumor ablation is a minimally invasive procedure designed to treat certain types of cancer. It involves inserting a specialized ablation probe into the tumor using advanced imaging techniques for guidance. Different methods can be used for ablation, such as cryoablation (freezing the tumor), radiofrequency ablation (using heat generated by radio waves), and microwave ablation (utilizing microwave energy). The goal is to destroy tumor cells to reduce or eliminate the tumor burden.
